Foreign Lanugage In The Classroom
Français
French culture is similar and different from American culture. The French are very family oriented. They eat dinner each night together. They eat later than we normally would. Sometimes their dinners can last for hours on end. They also do not get as big of portions as we may be used to. The French are known for their great cheese and pasteries. French crepes are popular here in the United States. France has beautiful architecture and artwork throughout its cities. They celebrate 11 national holidays annually. This includes Bastille Day, Labor Day, and Victory Day. In the month of May alone there is almost a holiday celebrated each week!
